Two Monkeys

Garrett wanted to be a monkey for Halloween, therefore Kat wanted to be a monkey for Halloween.  Thus, we have two monkeys. 

We went to church where there was a Trunk or Treat event.  It was a lot of fun; the kids loved it!

AWANA Crazy Hair night (a month ago!)

Garrett really wanted to wear a mohawk for crazy hair night, but his hair was too long and it wouldn't stand up straight.  He was very excited about the multiple crazy pig tails!

This can't be right!

Garrett's new favorite activity is holding his little brother.  Kat, on the other hand, has shown little interest in him.  She has been friendly, and kisses him when prompted, but she mostly ignores him (a trend I'm sure she will continue).  But the other day she wanted to hold her baby brother and it was the sweetest moment!  I was such a proud father.

We love our son

the older one.  We love our new son too, but we love Garrett tremendously and want to give him his moment to shine.
