Before Christmas, we had the pleasure and privilege to spend four days at Adam's grandparents' cabin in Twain Harte. We had been looking forward to 4 days of absolutely nothing to do long before the waves of flu, ear infections, and throat infections set in. But as we spent the week preceding our trip just hanging on, we clung to the fact that in 5 days, 4 days, 3 days (you get the picture), we would be cuddled up in the cabin, toasty from the heater with nothing to do but just be.
And so, when we awoke on our first morning at the cabin to SNOW, we were beyond thrilled. It brought back Kandern memories, and as soon as breakfast was done, we bundled up our little boy and headed out to play.
Later that day, we shared the snow fun with my mom and dad who came to visit at the cabin. To say we loved it, would be an understatement. Bobby, though, may not have loved the snow.

Bobby makes a good replacement for the tree that used to be there.

That was such a fun time. Garrett won't remember it but Grandma & Grandpa sure will. Wish we could do it again next year & the next year....
Love, Grandma B.
