Garrett's first trip to the movies

We went to see Planes.  It was like Cars, but in the air.  But we had a fun time.  He brought along two friends.

And here are some pictures of Kat, just so you don't forget we also have a daughter.

Garrett's first camping trip

Garrett and I drove down to Casper's Wilderness Park, outside of San Juan Capistrano.  

While I got the gear set up, Garrett worked on his rock collection.

The tent it up!  Sleeping bags unrolled.  Seems like a good time for a snack...

and a quick rest.

Next on the agenda, explore the river bed.  

Good thing we brought the diggers.

Casper's had an amazing park.  G's favorite was the tire swing. 

They also have a huge "whirly" slide.

After play time at the park, we headed back to camp to roast bratwurst. 

Garrett loved eating chips out of the bag.

And, or course, after dinner we had S'mores.  

Garrett and I had an amazing first camping adventure.  It was so fun, and we both look forward to going again.
